1 to 1 Counselling

Hello and Welcome

I am Larraine Cox, a BACP & NCS accredited, integrative counsellor offering a flexible, confidential service to all my clients: young people aged 11 upwards, adults and relationships / couples, via face-to-face in WA7, telephone or online counselling options.

I also offer Single Session Therapy and Rewind Trauma Therapy.

I am a supervisor, offering this service online, by phone or face-to-face in WA7.

I supervise groups, mostly online, due to logistics but, I am happy to group supervise in person, when the demand is there.

I work with anger issues, any kind of bereavement or loss, including pet bereavement, depression, cancer, age, divorce, affairs, betrayal, anxiety, specific and generalised anxiety, sexual and gender diversity, cross-dressing, addictions, abuse - sexual abuse, domestic abuse and abusive behaviours, stress, coming out, self-harming and if you are having suicidal thoughts - you really can talk to me.

You will be offered a caring and compassionate counselling session and whatever you bring to the session will be treated with confidence and respect (within safeguarding / confidentiality guidelines).

Relationship counselling doesn't depend on you being married, living together, same sex, opposite sex, neurotypical, neurodiverse or a mix - if you are in any kind of relationship that has problems, this service would strive to help you - whatever you need, to reconcile or to separate.

Successful counselling often works best when there is chemistry / trust between client and counsellor so let's have that first session before making a block booking - after this, there can be a mix of how we meet, face-to-face, telephone or zoom session depending on your requirements.

Prior to counselling you will be sent a counselling agreement to read and agree to - there is a copy of the counselling agreement on this website.

I have a payment in advance system, payment confirms the appointment and this is required within 24 hours of making the appointment or the appointment could be offered elsewhere.
